Welcome to our new Year 7 students!
Events for our upcoming students and their parents/carers.
Warm welcome into the Latymer community.
On the 3rd and 4th July, we were absolutely delighted to welcome Year 6 students who will join our school this coming September and their parents/carers. The Latymer School is a friendly and diverse community and we are very lucky to have wonderful children who are enthusiastic, bright and keen to learn. We were very pleased that so many upcoming students and their families were able to attend, learn more about the school day and ask any burning questions.
We recognise that it is a big step to move from primary school to a selective grammar school and the content below gives students and their families some essential tips to help this transition, along with providing information about the Latymer community and much more.
The start day for Year 7 students will be Wednesday 6th September. We really look forward to seeing and working with you all in the Autumn term!

Video explaining why donating to the school is critical.
As mentioned in the video, the school relies heavily on funds raised for the Latymer Foundation to continue providing excellent teaching, learning and extracurricular activities. The generous contributions of current parents/carers have such an amazing impact on all our students!
We are determined to keep our standards high for all the children at Latymer and this is why we are appealing to you to join the families who are already donating.
Every contribution, no matter what the amount, will be a great help. Please consider signing up for regular giving as this is the best way to have a long-term impact on the school - every child benefits.
For any questions on fundraising, please contact Ms Cami at camb@latymer.co.uk
Thank you so much in advance for any help you may be able to give!
